Starting this fall, The Lamar will stay open late and offer live music on select evenings. Featured performers include instrumentalists, songwriters and other local musicians. A $30 cover charge will include use of the steam room, sauna, swimming pool, whirlpool, robes, towels lockers, tropical fruit and herbal tea bar. BATH & BODY INDULGENCES: JUST $10 EACH

Med Star, a production company that syndicates stories for news release, recently stopped by The Lamar to do a story on coping with loss through spa therapy. They interviewed one of our guests who had recently gone through a divorce and had turned to our "I Will Survive" package for help. The spa day, which includes a yoga session, hot stone massage, detoxifying algae wrap, face saving facial and scalp treatment, is a great way to celebrate your survival and signify your commitment to not only survive, but thrive! The crew was so pleased with the impact of the story that they decided to save it for sweeps week in February, a time when broadcasters showcase their best "ratings generating" pieces. The story will be sent to over 900 news stations, nation wide and will likely air in Phoenix on Ch 3.
